GENERAL INFORMATION


The Mechanical Engineering Department of Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC) is known as one of the most developed in its area in Brazil. The Department has several areas, among them: Design, Manufacturing, Precision Machining, Fluid Dynamics, Acoustics and Vibration. 

Our university is located in Florianópolis, the State Capital, an island full of natural beauties and friendly people. Professional Information

My area is Design Methodology of Mechanical Systems, and my doctorate thesis was the development of an Expert System Prototype for Hydraulic Systems Design focusing on Concurrent Engineering Aspects.
